Hello! I’m Michael Martinez.

A frontend developer passionate about building intuitive, high-performing digital products that merge design and functionality. I founded and operate OriginLabs, an independent software studio focused on building and launching AI-powered web and mobile applications. Before that, I spent over two years as a Frontend Developer at Workiva, building and maintaining high-performance React and TypeScript components and collaborating across design and backend teams to ship clean, scalable UI systems.

I design, develop, and deploy full SaaS products end-to-end — authentication systems, payment integrations, database architecture, responsive interfaces, and AI-powered workflows — using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe, and modern AI APIs, including OpenAI-compatible APIs, image generation, conversational AI, and workflow automation.

I lead every part of the process: product strategy, UI/UX design, development, testing, and deployment, deploying and managing production applications on Vercel with modern CI/CD practices. I favor rapid MVP development and iterating on real user feedback over building in the dark.
